Hanging With Merrill and Sandy Part 1

I love hanging out with Laura's parents Merrill and Sandy...we always talk about Laura, and whenever I see them I think about her. Last time I was at home, Merrill and Sandy took me out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Yankton called El Tapatio. they have reallllly good guacamole called Guacamolazo that the three of us shared, and when we finished eating, i got to take the leftover guac! It was a huge bummer that Laura and Emily couldn't be there with us. :( on father's day last year, Laura and Emily took Merrill to El Tapatio. Maybe next father's day we can all go together.
Here is a picture of part of the menu. that's the Guacamolazo we got!
i miss u laura.

Arizona Iced Tea

Laura and I always used to drink Arizona Iced Tea together. She actually introduced me to all the delicious teas and juices of the Arizona Tea Company. Whenever I drink Arizona Tea I think of Laura. Last summer, laura and i would go to LuLu's to get Arizona Tea. I miss her sooo much!
The other day when i drove to Yankton I stopped at a gas station and got a Mucho Mango Arizona drink. I took a picture of it with my cell phone so i could post it on my blog, but my phone is being crazy so I'll upload a picture from the internet.
Also, while I was at the gas station Ross got sunflower seeds and we ate them on our way to South Dakota. Laura used to eat sunflower seeds all the time, and we would always eat them together while we were driving! Ross is really bad at eating sunflower seeds...If laura were here, she would have taught him how to eat them better. :(
here is a picture of lulu's and a mucho mango arizona drink.
the only picture i can find of lulu's is on google maps...

SCOTT HEIDEPRIEM FOR GOVERNOR

on saturday I walked in a parade for scott heidepriem's campaign. it was so much fun! Laura would have loved to be there. Scott Heidepriem's son Sam went to Macalester with us. I got to meet his parents, play with a cowbell, and was even rewarded a Scott Heidepriem T-shirt! Don't forget to vote for scott for governor in november! laura will probably have to vote absentee. to learn more about scott heidepriem visit his website www.scottheidepriem.com
here is a picture of all the parade volunteers with the Heidepriems!!!
