Laura is always leaving me. First she went to college and left me in Yankton, then she went to Berlin and Vienna for a semester, and now she's in Korea! I'm always missing her, and I want to share my feelings with the world. I hope people will join my missing laura community, and talk about how they feel!

Today when I looked at the temperature and it said 45 degrees I got really excited not only because 45 degrees is a comfortable temperature, but also because 45 is one of my favorite numbers. It hasn't always been one of my favorite numbers, but when I used to watch TV with Laura we would laugh about KSTC-TV, Channel 45's motto thing which is basically whisper-singing "forty-five" it's really fast and totally hilarious. ever since the time when I first heard this motto, I get really excited when I see or hear the number 45 and generally i whisper sing "forty-five," and it makes me really happy. 45 comes up a lot more than one would think... speed limits, guns, temperatures, times, how old people are...it's some crazy stuff. My dad recently turned 46, but the whole time he was 45 was hilarious! Anyway, if laura were here we would have sung the motto together when I saw the temperature. I'm having really mixed emotions toward 45 right now...it makes me happy, but it also makes me sad that laura isn't here...it's tough because i do really enjoy that motto...anyway, I tried to find a video of the 45 song to post, but I couldn't find one so instead you can visit some of my favorite websites about 45.
